We endeavour to make this process as stress free as possible.
Three easy steps to your refund:

Call our office on +44 (0) 1949 838383 or email sales@britebox-led.com and simply state that you require a refund on your product. Please give details (name, invoice number or post code) and a convenient day for us to pick the product up from you.

The product will be picked up at your convenience and brought back to ourselves. When we have received the product you will be refunded by which method you originally paid.

Please note:
All refunds will exclude our delivery and pickup costs of:

- £25 for the UK
- £75 throughout Europe
- £140 US
- £100 other

We have found that this is more cost effective and convenient than for you the customer to arrange and pay for this yourself. We hope you understand our position on this point.
The above works well for the larger items, but if the item is small then it would be more cost effective for the customer to send the product back to us and be refunded less £10. Please call us if you are unsure on this issue.

For monies to be refunded, the product must have been received by Mary Read Ltd, and found to be in good condition. Where the product is found to be damaged in any way, which is not consistent with the normal use of the product then a full refund cannot be given. It may be prudent for the purchaser to photograph the product before its return, thereby ensuring against dismissal of the claim for refund due to damage incurred in return transit.

Please note: products need to be returned in their original packaging due to possibility of damage within return transit. All refunds are exclusive of delivery costs. Any refunds requested after 60 days from receipt of the product will have to be declined through company policy. (Excepting extenuating circumstances which may be accepted by Mary Read Ltd). Refunds will be credited to the customer's bank account/card, Paypal or Google account (depending on how the initial transaction was completed) within 7 days of receipt of the product. We reserve the right to change the conditions of this money back guarantee at any time.

2 year full warranty on components and mouldings
Products are guaranteed for all parts for the term of 2 years. If any of the parts, whether electrical or material, are found to be faulty within 2 years then Mary Read Ltd are obliged to: a) Pick up the faulty product and replace with another, at no extra cost to the customer. b) Pick up the faulty product and refund the customer their money back, including delivery costs. Replacement of a faulty product will be within 10 days of our notification by the purchaser of their faulty product.
None of the above affects your statutory rights under UK law.
Our overall view on terms and conditions is that it produces a level playing field and we aim to provide a service where the customers' rights are respected.

VAT Exemption (SAD Products)

Our SAD light therapy boxes are certified as class IIa medical devices. Seasonal Affective Disorder is recognised by HM Customs and Excise to be a debilitating condition and as such if you have any of the symptoms, and you are buying light therapy for your own personal use or for a member of your family, you are entitled to sign (tick) the VAT Exemption statement on the View Basket page. This is a self certification and you do not need your doctor to sign any forms for you.
